filming locations?

okay first of all, I am yet another guy who loved this movie as a kid. Now 24, I found the dvd at my local dvd shop so I bought it. I showed it to my girlfriend, she hated it. Oh well.

Anyway, its no secret that this movie was filmed in Australia(I actually live about 10km's from the actual mansion in the movie), but when watching the movie together, me and my girlfriend were picking out all the places we have actually been, but we couldnt work out where the mcdonald's was. Does anyone know?

Also, as a kid I never actually realised that she was dreaming. haha oh well.

So, did you figure out where the McDonald's is or have you found out from someone?

In answer to your question about the location of the McDonalds in this truly great movie. Have you ever been to St Kilda opposite Luna Park? If not, you need to go & will find the last location of the movie.

At the time of the filming my older brother happened to be in the city & was able to watch a bit of the filming as well as get Chris & Kristy's signatures! I have loved the movie since the first time I saw it & managed to find a copy of the DVD in Kmart. Now my 7 year old daughter won't stop playing it until she knows all the songs by heart!!

hey thanks. I'll have to go and have a look. I'm sure its probably changed a fair bit since though!
