How many times have you watched 'The Wall'

Ok, this movie is still strange but bloody brilliant. I watched it first time when i was around 10 y.o. I've seen it around 10-12 times since then, love the wall so much. Its cool to watch the movie on dvd cause you get the lyrics in the screen as well if your native language isn't english. So how many times have you watched this?

reply

Yeah, 1/5 times, I guess. The movie was so terrible I couldn't watch it all.

I saw it at age 14 or so and became obsessed with both the movie and the album(but not that much with the band really at the time). Probably have seen it close to 20 times. Just watched it last week after not having seen it for at least 5 years. Feel like I might pop it in again tonight. It's that kind of movie. If you like it you can watch it again and again. Really, I thnk the film is really underrated. In fact I'll just say that it's the greatest rock movie ever(if you don't count documentaries or concert movies like The Kids Are allright, The Last Waltz, ect).

I wanna say anywhere from 10-20. Personally love this film.

246 times. Back in the early 90's I scraped and saved and bought a laserdisc player. This was the only movie I had for it. So I watched it. A LOT.

I saw it in '82 when it was in theaters. I went with 3 friends, but I was the only one who had any understanding of what it meant. The other 3 just thought it was strange and didn't get it at all. Since then I downloaded a copy and wore that out, bought the DVD twice so far, so I guess I'll have to say I've watched it countless times since I never kept track. I also have the "Live in Berlin" DVD as well as the "Roger Waters The Wall Special Edition" Blu-Ray 2 disc set. Simply great stuff! If you haven't seen "Roger Waters The Wall" yet, GET IT! It will blow you away.

Your answer is pretty much mine exactly. Ten when I first watched it (in '82). Seen it about a dozen times since.
