Could somebody give me some info?

Hi. I think I used to watch this movie when I was a kid, but I was so little that I have no idea if it was the Japanese version or some obscure American cartoon that no one's ever heard of. Is this the one where the Kalidahs is like a big black bear thing and it chases them around? I also remember a scene of Dorothy running around in the witches' castle and her footsteps show up in yellow on the ground. And the wizard appears as a rhino to one of the characters. If anyone happens to know....IS THIS THE SAME MOVIE? I'm DYING to find that movie again.

If so, can anyone tell me please please please where could I get a copy of this? I have searched ebay with no luck, and I'm not sure whether to search under the Japanese title or not (if I search under the Enlgish title there's so much stuff to sort through that I can't find it).

Try the Japanese title (make sure in english). If not, try typing in the name of one of the songs.

Yes, this is the version with Aileen Quinn from "Annie" whose Dorothy is a blonde. The red-haired Dorothy is from the 1987 series that aired on HBO.

I haven't seen this movie in forever! I'm glad I'm not the only one that remembers it. I owned it on VHS and I think I got it from, of all places, a McDonalds! They were showing it on one of their TVs and my mom bought it for me. I do like this version of the Wizard of Oz. It's so unique and different from the 1939 version with Judy Garland. And that's saying something because I absolutely love the original.

Vampires are so overrated. Werewolves and Zombies kick ass!
