In the big dance scene with Raul Jula and Teri Garr, does anybody know who the woman that twirls around Julia and stretches her leg on his shouler is? The IMDB credits state "Michelle Johnston ... Dancer (uncredited)" but it doesn't look like that's her in this scene. Thanks!
shareThat woman caught my eye too. While Michelle Johnston is the only person credited as "Dancer", you will recall there were any number of dancers she could have been playing. And besides, she was born in 1969. This movie was released in 1982. That dancer looked older than 12 or 13. So I guess we'll never know. She sure was sexy though, huh?
Is it not possible to imagine that Garr did the dancing herself? Terri was a background dancer in her early career and appeared in dance routines in many variety shows. Also her mother was a dancer in the Rockettes.
