Nobody likes the film

I like the film.

It's an excellent film, as are nearly all of Coppola's films. It's an intimate fantasy of a couple deciding whether or not they want to stay with one another.

I've rarely seen a better film maker than Coppola. No joke. Some critic remarked that Eastwood was the best we have. I dispute that. "One from the Heart" is among cine-snobs a dud and a waste of ego and money. Did those people even watch the same film?

Maybe if they went in there without knowing the gobs of money Coppola spent on the thing, they might be a little less jaundiced.
