Has anyone seen the stage musical of this film? A old mate starred in it and tries not to talk about the experience when being questioned about the show. The critics slammed it and the show closed 3 weeks after opening due to poor ticket sales.
shareIt closed after 6 weeks, not 3 and I don't know about it getting slammed by critics because it still went on to being nominated for a bunch of awards. Ok, that was in Australia, not the Tonys on Broadway but still, I don't think the fact people didn't want to see it proved it was terrible.

My thousand apologies for the "it ran for 3 weeks" print...hey we all humans and humans make simple mistakes.
The Aussie Sydney critics gave this production not nice reviews at all (the critics down here can be very harsh).
The actors were giving away free tickets on the second weekend of production due to poor ticket sales on Facebook.
But i know 4 people who went and seen the show and absolutely enjoyed it (i would've went myself if the production went longer and sadly it didn't).
