Truly disturbing rape scene

I thought Laura Gemsar's foul violation by some gross-looking blue-skinned humanoid fish creep mutant in "Endgame" was weird and disturbing. Boy, was I ever wrong. The single most brutal and upsetting rape scene ever filmed for a cheesy Italian post-nuke sci-fi/action rip-off of "The Road Warrior" happens in this rapidly homophobic riot. A bound and bloodied Timothy Brent is savagely sodomized by a leering George Eastman while Eastman's crazed followers look on and cheer their approval. Now, that's a truly horrible fate that's worse than death in my humble opinion.

Although George Eastmans death scene at the end is sweet revenge.

Actually the rape scene was an "initiation". Also, remember One (Eastman) not only wanted to kill Scorpion(Brent), but also humiliate him. What better way than humiliate a man than by sodomizing him in front of other men? Then again this was set in a post-apocolyptic world where everything was messed up.

did anyone else notice that when the villian died, he also had this exprfession on his face like he was being anally violated...lol that's subtley!(/sarcasm)

The funny part about this movie is that I told my friends how "gay" it was. They came to find out that I wasn't kidding.

This film is hilarious! The male rape scene was hilarious and totally tongue in cheek like the rest of the film. It could be accused of being homophobic, but it is far too campy and cheesy to be taken seriously. Anyway, the male sodomy scene added a bit of originality for a change, rather than exploiting bare breasted women like most of these type of films.

My boyfriend bought this cheesefest for like a buck at Walmart this weekend; he couldn't restst the wannabe "Road Warrior" look it had, and we knew it would be great for a laugh. When the butt rape scene came up, we were both like "it this what I think it is? It can't be. Yes it is. ..." Fortunately, we really didn't see much, just flashing disco lights, that One dude making funny faces, and that Scorpion guy grabbing his plastic manacle thingies.

BTW, why is everything in this movie made of clear plastic? Even his stupid bulletproof see-thru armor (which we laughed our @sses off at). I would think all that plastic would have melted during the whole nuclear holocost thingie...

At least this particular scene was cut very fast. This wasn't exactly Ned Beatty in Deliverance! LOL

My wife and I laughed hysterically when One got his comeuppance with that drill bit going into the backside of his car! O, what irony.

Viewers refer to this as a rape scene as if the penetration were an accomplished fact, but in the print I viewed, the planned-for rape never occurs. A messenger arrives with Big News and so Scorpion is spared from having his sphincter violated by One's king-sized salami.

Sorry dinky, musta gotten the censored version.

About the rape: the man was wearing chaps and clear plastic shoulder pads throughout the movie. IMHO, he was askin' for it.

I've been wanting to see this movie because I like post-apocalyptic films, and yes, I knew it looked cheesy, but there's no way I could pass up a movie in which the hero takes out a thug by thrusting his head into the tire of a moving vehicle.

Anyway, the first time I saw this, when One uses the shank to tear off Scorpion's pants, I was perturbed, but was thinking, "Okay, he's going to whip him or something. He can't possibly do what it looks like he's going to do." Then One takes off his belt. I'm more perturbed, but I start thinking, "Okay, he's going to whip him with the belt. HE CAN'T POSSIBLY DO WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE HE'S GOING TO DO."

And then One does what he looked like he was going to do.

Thankfully, as other people here pointed out, it wasn't very graphic, and if they must include a scene like this in a movie, I applaud them for not making it graphic. I think rape scenes in film are reprehensible, and that even if it's essential to the plot, they can just hint at it instead of showing it graphically; they don't need to show it graphically to get the point across. I think the absolute worst scene of this nature that I ever saw was in "I Spit On Your Grave"; I actually had to fast-forward it.

Of course, such scenes are obviously not nearly as reprehensible as people who actually commit the crime. Furthermore, being the huge supporter of free speech that I am, I would never tell anyone how to make a movie or what to censor; if something in a film bothers you greatly, then don't watch it.

"Just repeat to yourself, 'It's just a show; I should really just relax.'"

Ok rape scenes are wrong, but its perfectly fine for people to be brutally killed onscreen? Really not making any sense.

Same thing in Video Games. it's ok to BRUTALLY kill you opponent (not just kill, but eviscerate), but NOT for a woman to show her nipples. go figure.
