It deserved a sequel.


Keep the characters, change the setting. Call it ‘Chuck & Blaze'. Ganz and Mandell return to extend the characters. If Howard wouldn’t return at the helm, allow Winkler and Keaton to co-direct it. Hell, even if they did this now, it would potentially be better than anything anyone involved with the film has done in a long, long while (Winkler in Arrested Development aside). Shelley Long, too.

I think a sequel would be funny, Michael Keaton has matured as an actor while Winkler is funnier than he's ever been, so the film could almost have them swap places as William Blazjoski is the uptight business man and Chuck Lumply is the comic relief...throw in a little hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold Shelley Long and I think it might be something entertaining.
