From an Australian newspaper:

[Tarantino's] favourite is Jarratt's 1982 horror film, Next Of Kin.

"That movie was mesmerising," said Tarantino.( Red carpet gallery)

"I've never seen anything that had The Shining's quality without ripping it off."

Yeah, I had this creepy little gem but left it in a rented VCR. DOH !

I've read some horrid revews of this film and I gotta say these folks are morons.

Glad to see it getting some respect.
