Seeking Approval:Need to show a short clipping of Narayama bushikô.

I am film maker from India, Would be starting working for my Second feature. I need to use a small clipping of the film Narayama bushikô (1983). Could anybody help to send the address or the method of getting approval for the same from the copyright holders?
