What brand did Alan Swan drink?

Not an important detail but it is something that I would like to know. The liquor bottles in Alan Swan's suitcase and even his little hold out bottle are a very distinctive shape. I assume that it is either a high class brand of whisky or brandy. Does anyone know what brand of alcohol this was?

Pinch, the fourth most popular Blended Deluxe Scotch worldwide. It contains a high percentage of malt whiskies including Glenkinchie and Linkwood.

Many a heartfelt thanks for the information Ron31!!

Sometimes also referred to as "Dimple" or "Pinch" Ian Fleming, notorious for using brand names, refers to this brand in one or more James Bond novels. Actually, one can build a splendid liquor collection from Mr. Fleming's writings.

I must respectfully disagree. This film is my absolute favourite, and my wife and I have lost count of how many times we’ve watched it. I am reasonably sure the bottles Mr O’Toole holds are Remy Martin cognac.

I believe PINCH is correct. At least, that's what my alcoholic friends say...

The Bottle is a Dimple. It was my fathers favorite blend and mine too when he forgot to mark the bottle.

i think you're right.

Yup, Swanny definitely was drinking Haig Dimple. This is one of my favourite films & Haig dimple is one of the finest blended whiskey you could ever sample. I have to agree that Peter O'Toole was totally matched in the acting stakes by Joseph Bplogna.

Try it neat, with a splash of hot water. . . really brings out the flavors. Wow.
