Beware the Region 2 DVD from Spain.
It is described as 16:9 but is in fact a 4:3 image stretched to fit the 16:9 screen. It is also framed poorly. It appears it was "irected" by "harlton Heston".

A knowledge of Ifoedit could fix that aspect ratio problem.
Does it have burned-in subs like the Swedish DVD?
The Swedish DVD is reasonable quality, but it's annoying to have to put up with what looks like ramblings of the Swedish chef from the Muppets on the bottom of the screen all the way through.
