Gold Spandex + a Baby Blue Satin Bandanna...

Wow.... Just wow.

As a kid in the 80's I vaguely remember this flick, but am certain there was a huge marketing buzz around it at the time.

So more than 30 years later, I sat down to revisit this just for poops 'n giggles and in retrospect, I just couldn't believe this movie was ever made!

Its a hoot to look back, but what the heck were we all on back then to think that supposed "macho men" being dressed in nut-hugger spandex was appropriate?? Another example from roughly the same timeframe was Gil Gerrard in Buck Rogers.

How can I "un-see" this now!? Haha. I hope it doesnt take another 3 decades to erase this from my memory again!!

When I was a kid, my sister and I watched this religiously. It's one of those movies you know is cheesy even when you're 10, but for some reason it still works for you.

I watched it recently for the nostalgia trip. Wow, you are so right. I can't believe anyone thought this was a good idea. Corniest part of the movie was when he did that spin move to get on the C-130 followed up by the uber-cool thumb kiss.

Erin Gray sure did look amazing in that uniform, though, innit?

I agree that wasn't a good look for a dude. I imagine there might be some gay guys in our age group who thought the same way about Gerard that I do about Erin Gray, though.

Just started watching this. Saw it about 30 years back. A delicious slices of '80s cheese, if I remember correctly.

And don't forget; the good guys always win, even in the eighties.

My memory had failed me. This was awful.

Awfully cheesy which makes it just as good as it was then. It's lame and I love it! It's just fun!

Well, it was aimed at kids, and Needham isn't a war-film movie director. He's a stunt coordinator by trade.
