This film has to have the best artistry that I've ever seen in an animated film, by far. Everything is so detailed and strange. Moebius' artwork is really a wonder to behold. Are there any other animated films people can suggest that have equally as beautiful artwork? And before anybody suggests it, I've already seen Fantastic Planet, which had some truly bizarre designs.

The soundtrack music, animation, creatures, spaceships, aliens, all
are so amazing! This movie still stands up well with the Anime and
other animated films of today.
Hope they release this film onto Blu-ray some day soon!
And the music soundtrack onto CD as well!!!
Have you seen Heavy Metal (1981)? It's more a collection of short stories than one big story, but in it you'll find at least one segment with artworks by Moebius. Most of the other segments have also that same 70s/early 80s comics sci-fi vibe.
Be warned (if you need to): it has definitely more sex and graphic violence than Time Masters.
