This movie is bad???

If anyone thinks this movie is bad, then they obviously have not seen Knight Chills. Somehow Knight Chills got only a few star-points less (3.1 vs. 4.2 for Mazes & Monsters), but at least M&M had people that could ACT!

I admit it has been over 20 years since I saw the film, but I don't recall it as being as terrible as everyone says. One day I shall watch it again. I'm not fond of Hanks and like only a few of his films. Still this one does not stick out in my mind as a turkey.

OMG! My dad bought that movie, thinking it would be interesting for my brother (he's 11)--but I saw a few clips, and it was really LAME.

I just finished watching M&M though. I thought it was good, despite the bad transfer to DVD and other such before-my-time (the movie's from '82, I was born in '83) movie things.

I've liked RPGs for years (though I don't often get to play, if at all), and I didn't see M&M as anti-RPG at all. It's more character-driven (or should that be dual-character-driven? :-p) than plot driven, really, and I tend to like that more than the "bang, bang, shoot-em-up" flicks we see nowadays.

I, like you, sm into RPGs and find this movie to be excellent.

I am old enough to remember when it was first aired and thought my friends and I where much like people in the movie and had the hope that they would come after me if I meeded Help (and that I'd do it for them) [not that any of us ever "took a side trip"].

This movie is CRAP! The cover looks very promising, but after watching it I realized what a waste of an hour it was. First it had nothing to do with an adventure. It is a story about a guy who goes over the edge because he can't deal with the fact that he helped his brother to run away. Total bull. The monsters look fake, a very cruddy ending and a waste. Do not buy or rent this video.

Looks like it was written and directed by a playgroup of six year olds .
