Unrealistic in a sense

That no one seemed to suspect Zack was gay before he came out. Not only because he could quote lines from old movies, as someone else mentioned. In most real life instances people will say they always suspected something about the person. I know this was said about actor Robert Reed when Florence Henderson would repeat this in interviews when they had scenes together thinking, "I believe he is gay." I think it was also said about Rock Hudson. Men you wouldn't suspect but obviously some did.
