looking for tv program

program from the 90s it was British and about these people living on a council estate it follows this woman that stole from shops and sold the stolen goods at the pub and i think it was her husband stole a cow and slaughtered it in there kitchen and he made her sell some of it at the pub

ther was also a woman with loads of kids that couldn't pay the rent and she told her landlord she had cancer and she looked like she was about to cry telling him but as soon as he left thay all lathed histricly the landlord later found out and he punches her in the face

thats all i remember i thought i would ask about it on here becouse it was a British drama i think it was called shopping or atlest shopping was in the title

if anyone knows the name plese let me know i haven't seen it since it was shown i only have a vague recollection of it i think it may of been on chanal 4 but i cant really remember
