Fantastic realistic film!

I saw this film last year and think its absolutely amazing. So gritty and realistic.

Tim Roth has been my favourite actor for a while for his performances in Pulp Fiction and Reserviour Dogs so i decided to get the first film he ever did...

WOW! So much energy, he really WAS Trevor The Skinhead. I just wish that the films coming out at the cinema nowadays could live up to this...

AH WELL!

I agree! It's one of my all time favorites - one of the best performances I've ever seen. Everybody in this movie was incredibly convincing. Would someone please tell me why this film is not as legendary as Taxi Driver or any of the best french New Wave films like Breathless or The 400 Blows?

Also, what film better represents the 80s punk-hardcore movement in its technique and theme?

In my opinion it should be in the top 100 of the greatest films polls.

Yes it should. I watched '50 Greatest Ever Drama's' last week and Made In Britain was something like number 42... It should have been higher!

At least it's been recognised as a good drama though i guess...

I know this film is bloody brilliant. Short, explosive, realistic, concise, economic, spare, edgy and the list goes on. I especially loved the camerawork. Everything simply fits. Should have a higher rating and fanbase!

it really showed the chaos going on in england at that time, noone knew what to do and trevor is the ultimate result of that, he has all the right ideas but goes about them in the wrong way pushed on by the sheer frustration of the situation he finds himself in, he is already in the circle and noone will show him a way out.
what a film!

It's a riveting film. Roth delivers a commanding performance in the lead.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!
