Angelina fans have problems?

Zachary Smith, in his user comments about the film, which are currently placed on the main page for the film as the primary user comment that visitors see, states:

Novices will dismiss this gorgeous movie as drek, pointing out that the only "good" thing about it was Angelina Jolie when she was 4 years old. First of all, anyone who is an Angelina "fan" has problems of their own, and are in no position to criticize anything, much less art, like this great movie.

Of course you have to understand film and writing to appreciate it. You can't just be in the Angelina Jolie fan club.

Putting aside the fact that Angelina Jolie was seven years old, and not four, I find it odd that imdb selected, as the entrance review on the film's main page, one that insults fans of Jolie. Certainly, one can express enjoyment of a film without insulting fans of one of the actors who appear in it, a gratuitous digression which is not relevant to the quality of the film. People can watch the film for whatever reason they want, and indeed, one of the users whose comments are listed on the "Other Comments" page indicated that he watched to complete his Angelina Jolie collection. A competently-written review need not denigrate those who do not agree with the writer's tastes and preferences. While such vitriol and arrogance are a given on the net, where users emboldened by the anonymity of the medium feel less restrained by politeness and objectivity, but that imdb would use a review containing such comments as the first review visitors see when they visit the page for this movie is disappointing.
