Full length or Director's Cut Version on Video-DVD release?

I wonder if there will ever be a Full length or Director's Cut Version on Video-DVD release of this worthy film project which was so severely truncated for television release as a TV-movie?
I would love to see the full version on video. I wonder if Raquel Welch could be involved in making that happen? I liked the original TV release, but noticed many times where the editing cuts were made to chop it down for TV commercials. It's really too bad this film did not have a theatrical release.

Well said Dejael, I have also watched the film many times and thoroughly enjoyed it. But it's a real shame that the very end of the film is always shown with a brief narration about Walks Far living to the age of 102 . . . then "Whammo" THE END!
Come on Mr. Damski, Sir, let's see the full uncut version if possible. I hope the extra footage has not been lost or destroyed and that the powers that be can include it in this wonderful little masterpiece and release it on a DVD.
Has anyone got a copy for sale ?
