This just completely ticks me off!

They don't even have illustrations yet!? The status on the webpage has been saying for months and months that the products were finished and it was just a matter of manufacturing costs!

What is the source for that news? There aren't any updates on conlanpress.com.

It sounds like they weren't planning on having any illustrations in the book until he got in touch with them about illustrating The Last Unicorn so I don't think it is a case of them having waited about to find an illustrator- although that makes me wonder what they were actually waiting for?!

I do agree that it is crazy business practice. I just checked my email receipt and it was April 2005 that I ordered mine, and including shipping to Europe it was $68. Actually at the time I assumed they wouldn't take the payment until they dispatched it (that is the norm in my experience of online shopping) but I just had another look at the email and it didn't say anything about that so I guess I have already been charged for it. I hope I do actually get it and that orders from 5 years ago haven't been lost or I will be pretty pissed off.

The least they could have done would be to provide everyone who has already bought the audiobook with the download code for the MP3 so we could at least hear what we paid for even if we had to wait a lifetime for the actual CDs and book to arrive. I did see ont he website that it says people who ordered the Last Unicorn Audiobook get a Fine and Private Place audiobook for free which I hope is correct because I love that story.

Me too! I remember them stating when it first came out that it would be illustrated. I am seriously just fed up with the whole thing.
