Soundtrack

So far i've only been able to track down "James Dean and The junkman" by Hoyt Axton.
Can somebody list the other songs?

reply

Yeah, I'm looking for a few too. Especially the track just after Blackbird crashes her car and she's getting out of it. (Shake it Sally) or something like that.

reply

Yeah same here, Shake it Sally must be the title.

I did found "James Dean and the Junkman".

All of the songs were made for the movie, except for the one that plays on the jukebox while Harlan is snooping around his office ("Joy to the World", also by Hoyt Axton). The other songs are the infamous end credits theme by Hoyt, "The Junkman", and "The Great American Dream", by God knows who during the awards video montage. Would be great to have a proper release of them all one day, but thanks to Denice Halicki, I doubt it.

They should release The original Gone in 60 seconds and Junkman soundtrack on one disc.

reply

They should re-release the DVD with the original soundtrack to it aswell.

reply

They seam to think their better in 5.1 surond(why I don't know) both movies are SO much better in there orginal mono

reply

"Shake It Sally" by Freddie Cannon and the Belmonts, with Bo Diddley
