In 2005, this movie still cracks me up.

Someday, I believe Paramount will re-release this underground comedy classic. To date, I have not heard anything. You will probably see this on Comedy Central before a re-release.

I bought a copy of the film about a year ago. Since it's OOP I paid a hefty price for it but it was well worth it. If you are interested in a VHS copy, check out Amazon.Com's marketplace.

I hate to say it but Comedy Central has not shown this movie yet on TV unless they did back in the 90's though. I use to watch this on USA UP ALL NIGHT late on Friday and Saturday nights from 1986 until 1998.

I miss seeing this movie on the weekends and many others like this that are comedy classics. I just bought the DVD on Tuesday even though my intentions were to buy another movie instead. I was glad that I bought it though.

Uh, just so you know, this has been on DVD for awhile now. It's a legit, widesdcreen DVD from Paramount. Try amazon.

Look on Ebay. There is seller out in CA that makes "VCR like quality" DVDs. hint, hint - guess how they made it. It's good enough for me (for now). Good luck.

Oh, I guess I never really answered your question. As far as I know, NO. I did some looking on line but I only found old VHS or DVD bootlegs and no mention of a future release date. I'm guessing not for a while. I mean, we all know that since the war on drugs has been soooo successful, re-releasing a film with it's overt drug humour would give the impression that it's OK to take drugs. So I think I need an Excedrin for all the hypocrisy that hurts my head, then a "purple pill" to help stop the ulcer from all the BS we have to swallow. Damn, where's my Ivy? IVY!?! IVY!?!

i'm still waiting for this dvd release. i bought the original vhs about 16 years ago (still mint) and i also recorded it from the sci fi channel (different version,certain parts deleted and newer parts added in). i wonder there is a chance for a special editon with 2 versions.

Daum Media has the show on DVD in Korea.

Been waiting 3 weeks for it to show up at a hole in the wall video shop locally. Az.

Could someone please give a heads up if this comes on tv anytime. I haven't seen this since it was first on HBO, but still remember the gold chains & chest hair he grew after snorting a line. I would buy this dvd in a second. This is one of the last childhood HBO movies that I don't have yet. Is it ever shown uncut on cable? Is there any site that tells you if a movie will be coming on tv?

I Remember seeing this one at the local AUTO-MOVIE (Drive-in) in Vallejo, CA when it first came out.

At 11 years old, some of the drug references were beyond me, but but I remember laughing my little-butt off the through the whole show! It was like watching an extended SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE skit. Only bigger and raunchier.

Hyde's first night out, The super-sized breast gag, and Robert Louis Stevenson spinning in his grave at the end... a comedy classic! It still gets gut-busting laughs out of me today!

TO HELL with politically correct! This flick is DEFINETLY worth buying on DVD if Paramount ever gets the balls to re-release it.

When HBO was still kinda new and we were the first in the neighborhood to have it, I saw this movie. I havn't seen it since and I still remember how funny it was. I'll bet I watched it about 15 times. I'd love to have the DVD!

No news yet, I guess. I really wish this movie would get released on DVD. We used to go rent this in my less responsible days when we would go out all night and miss work the next day (not every day, of course). We would spend the day watching it and laughing our butts off.

I downloaded that version today. The quality isn't half bad. It runs very smooth and the visual quality is like a 2nd gen copy. Very watchable.

I love this movie, I bought it on VHS but was dissapointed in the changes like the nun singing and the guy in the elevator singing. Then I managed to get my hands on a tv rip from a p2p program and it was the original I remember seeing back in the 80s, yay! I wished they would release it on DVD, I would definitely buy it. When I first seen it I was erhm a bit wild myself so I could relate to it, but even now after having settled down and having a family it is still just as hilarious. Mark Blankfield is awesome.

You can find decent Full Screen copies, just do a google search for "Jekyll and Hyde Together Again DVD" and it will pull up several places that have it, pretty cheap to, under $15

My sister and I love this movie. This is one of those movies that we snuck to see after our parents went to bed . I would love to own this movie . Maybe we will need to an online petition to Paramount .

I am very happy to own this movie on DVD-but selfmade from the (German)VHS Cassette.This is definitive one of the funniest movies I ve ever seen.
...And I know and own a lot of very good comedy from the eighties.
I don´t think they have the balls to release this film on DVD because of the "powder" he used.This kind of skuril underground movies like Cheech and chong or even Pee Wee Herman are a relict from the eighties and sadly there is no replacement in this kind of humour amymore...

I have to agree with you on this one because it is pretty hilarious to watch and I loved watching it too whenever I could see it. I use to see it on a show on the USA Network called USA UP ALL NIGHT!

It would crack me up just watching this movie and it should be out on DVD!

I grew up on Night Flight. I believe that was the precursor for Up All Night.

I have most of the Cheech & chong flicks. This film certainly isn't any worse than those. REally! The pee and the laundry soap bit C&C do? I guess that is just supposed to be laundry soap, but still...

You are very correct goldies97 because I remember flipping through channels back in the day and they would always advertise about Night Flight on USA Network. I caught the show a few times when I was younger but that has been a long time ago though. I use to watch USA UP ALL NIGHT ever weekend on Friday and Saturday nights.

I loved the movies that they showed on there and thought it was great! I know what you mean about this movie not being any worse than Cheech and Chong Movies. It was hilarious watching the pee and the laundry sopa and the bit of C&C was great to watch!

AWESOME! That is great to hear because I loved this movie and found it very amusing and funny as hell to watch! I use to watch this on USA UP ALL NIGHT and on the USA Network back in the day and loved it! The first time I saw it or caught a glimpse of it on was back in the day when I was young and over at a neighbors house and he had it on HBO or one of the premium channels. It was funny then and it is still funny in my opinion now!

Glad to hear this cult classic is finally being released on DVD. I remember watching it on cable back in the early 80s and I am psyched that I'll be able to get it on disc. Sadly they don't make comedies like this anymore, PC bites :/

Got a copy through Netflix yesterday. Pretty sparse as far as extras go. No commentary or trailers. Just the movie itself in widescreen, and the menu only offers PLAY and CHAPTER SELECTION choices. But the transfer to dvd was clean and solid, and it doesn't appear to have been edited for any content from the original release.

Mine arrived from Amazon today. I just finished watching it and it was just as hilarious as I remember it being. It's been at LEAST 15 years since the last time I saw it. Mark Blankfield was pure genius in this film.

It's practically a throwaway scene, but when Jekyll's in the hospital and Carew is looking for him and he literally dives offscreen down the hallway, I lose it. Classic.

Yeah, pretty good release for a movie of this type. I really enjoyed watching it this way since the bittorrent version looked like I was watching it at the bottom of the pond.

Worth buying! Hopefully more films of this type will get releases.
