If there was ever to be a remake...

Who would you want to see in the cast and what would you wish to see?

I'd want to see some interaction between Rebecca and Rowena, they hardly talk to eachother in this one.
Also I would like the characters to be a bit deeper. They say they're in love, but honestly I can't see it. There is absoluteley no tension between Ivanhoe and Rebecca.

Just spontaneously I thought of Gemma Arterton as Rebecca, and I think Carey Mulligan could do some justice to Rowena. Don't know if the would go together though.

Thoughts or ideas anyone?

i would love to see Liam Neeson as King Richard and David Morrisey as Prince John as they could easily pass as brothers BTW there is a remake in preparation i dont know how far along this is in development but Sam Riley has been signed to play Ivanhoe.
