FYI & A 'BIG IDEA' for DVD Release of 'FLIGHT OF THE EAGLE'

Hello my fellow FLIGHT OF THE EAGLE fans:

I have an FYI and a BIG IDEA for you about FLIGHT OF THE EAGLE ( aka: Ingenjör Andrées Luftfärd ) as regards a possible big-time DVD release ...

FYI: A couple of years ago, I spoke to one of the producers of the follow-up documentary, EN FRUSEN DRÖM -- and he told me there's a legal entanglement with any new DVD’s for FLIGHT ...' and so, 30 plus years later, we must exist with our worn-out, but still precious 30 plus year old VHS tapes.

Ouch … however ———

BIG IDEA: Let’s not be shy about this, there should be a CRITERION COLLECTION release. Period. Maybe if 'we' (meaning, whomever reads this) contacts them and start the campaign for a Blu-Ray who knows?

And it's logical to have not only FLIGHT OF THE EAGLE as the main feature ... but of course, they should include the 1997 Documentary, EN FRUSEN DRÖM to the ‘Special Features / Extras’—
