It was dark and I wanted to get it over with.

Just watched this on Netflix last night. I thought I'd seen it before, but couldn't remember anything about it from the description. Then I start watching it and every single joke comes back to me. I remember the cadence, the voices of the lead actors, every set up triggers the payoff in my mind before it's said.

I must have not only seen it, but seen it many times and I don't remember why. Probably it was on HBO when they ran the same movie 20 times a week.

When Libby asks her father what his first time was like and he says, "It was dark and I just wanted to get it over with." -- I'm like, so that's where I got that from! I've used that line so many times in my life, but I always thought I was stealing it from Woody Allen. LOL.

LOL  Underrated film.
