What happened to daughter,please?

I missed part of the movie and wondered ,can anybody please tell me if the little girl survived? Thanks in advance.

I have it on good word that the daughter in the long run got a nasty case of the crabs.

The daughter survived. She was chased by two giant spider crabs and fell out of a tree, got injured and was shipped back to the USA to recover and was never seen or mentioned again in the film.
