Who wrote the songs?
I can't seem to find the songwriting credits anywhere. Not even the movie itself lists them.
Did Steve Dorff or Marty Robbins write "Honkytonk Man", perhaps based on lyrics from the book?
I don't know who wrote them, but it wasn't the author of the novel, Clancy Carlile. He wrote and included several sets of song lyrics for the book, but those used in the book were not the same as those in the movie.
