is this appropriate for kids?

We are watching movies that take place during the Depression. Is there anything I need to worry about here? Thanks.

What ages? There's a scene in a whorehouse. Some people might worry about that, although I wouldn't.

This film was appropriate for kids in 1982. One of the main characters is a fourteen year old boy after all.

Not sure if it would be considered appropriate for kids in 2015.

You may be right, unfortunately. Who has become less mature over this generation, the kids or their elders?

In any case, to elevate the word "(in)appropriate" to prosecuting attorney, judge, and jury all rolled into one is so Boomer. Their ancestors never would have done this. It makes me ashamed to be one.

I'd say it's fine for a 13-14 year old. There's drinking and a brief thing with weed. The only part that is risque is when Clint Eastwood's character wakes up after a night of booze next to a 16 year old girl insinuates that she's pregnant and near the end of the movie she remarks and touches her stomach "I haven't been feeling well for the past few months" which suggests that she is indeed pregnant with Clint Eastwood's character's baby. It's just gross since he's in his late 30's in this movie and shes "not even 16"
