has any one seen this movie?

I have been looking to buy Harry Tracey Desperado. It appeared on HBO in 1982 and starred Bruce Dern. I would like it in my collection and can't seem to deem weather it has even been reproduced by HBO for the consumer.
Any help would be welcomed. Thanks.

It's showing up as a DVD release on May 28, 2003, but so far haven't been able to find it available for sale anywhere.

An updated reply here. In the summer of 2004,the movie came out on DVD and was made available at Best Buy stores, which is where I bought my two copies. I don't recall if it was available anywhere else but most likely it was.

It's avery inexpensive DVD,not even 6 dollars. If you look on Ebay or Amazon.com also, you may find it. Just keep lookin'!

Just purchased it today at Wal-Mart for three bucks.

It is this movie being discussed (Dern, Lightfoot, Shaver, Gwynn) but is has been renamed (at least on the dvd box) as: HARRY TRACY - THE LAST of the WILD BUNCH

Will watch it within a few days....

This is one of My favorite westerns although I can't put my finger on exacltly why.
Maybe because I like Bruce Dern, Maybe because the dreary wet Pacific Northwest atmosphere reminds me of my own Northwest Montana,
Maybe because it's just a good story.
I have this movie on VHS and want to get it on DVD.
I probably watch it 3 or 4 times a year.
I'm not an overly emotional guy but admit to getting welled up at the end.

I have it on VHS with terrible sound--it's impossible to hear quite a bit of the dialogue, even with the sound all the way up. I hope they cleaned it up for the DVD.
It's a good movie, one of those little pleasures that most people never find out about. The acting is good, the story (true) is good, it's great to look at--how beautiful is Canada, anyway?
Bruce Dern is one of the most under-rated actors in the business. He's been rock-solid for over 40 years, and he can do comedy, drama, anything. Alfred Hitchcock loved him, and that's saying a lot.
He's also an extremely NICE human being, a really good man. Speaking personally here.

I haven't seen this film in years. Was going to ask if it had been released on DVD, but this seems to be the case. I'll be looking for a copy on Amazon.

It was shown a few weeks ago on The Western Channel. I'd never seen nor heard of it before but found it to be very good.

I just saw this film and thought it was quite good. Bruce Dern was excellent in the lead, with fine support from Michael C. Gwynne and Helen Shaver.

I've seen it. Dern is magnificent. I loved it. He was great. See it for him.

Surely by now you have gotten a copy. I see it on demand on mplex and encore all the time. But Dern is like 20 years to old for the role. The real Tracy was around 27.

Sorry to come late to the party but just stumbled on this one. I used to work for a film lab in Toronto & we were still making prints of this in 1987. Somebody out there musta liked it.
