I listen to this song all the time. It's so good. How is this song so good when the rest of the songs are just awful? The others have camp value cuz of how bad they are, but this is just an awesome song.

I do think that's a matter of opinion. I think Prowlin is one of the greatest songs in the movie and it sounds like something that could've been a hit in the 60s if not for the humor and subject matter.

shareIt IS a good song and I have always been partial to black clothes & teasing my Hair (crown area) because of it. And if I see a ladder set up---forget it! Circular jazz hands for sure.

This IS a fantastic song and Michelle NAILED it in the film. I LOVE the scene, but there was ONE thing that almost ruined it for me. The LAST shot of her dancing off into the distance to the music in her head while other people around her are watching her and NOT hearing any music. Them walking like normal and her dancing to the music looks absolutely ABSURD.
I was COMPLETELY into it with her, dreaming of her cool rider, singing and dancing to her fantasy, but seeing her with other people not responding to the song was a HUGE mistake. The contrast was very JARRING!

I know, right? Came here to say the same thing. In the days of video recorders, this way the first song on my video recording of my favorite movie/MTV moments. I could watch it over and over. Recording just one clip was much easier back then. Using my DVR makes just one clip difficult but not impossible.
