Russell Brand or Jon Bon Jovi, perhaps?

its a bummer that kingsley did such a good job that no one else could possibly stand up to his role so i'm going to say no one could do it but him

reply

Kal Penn? Vin Diesel? Russell Brand?!

I think it's best they just find some unknown Indian actor to play the role, like what they did with the original Gandhi (Ben Kingsley was half-Indian) and more recently with Slumdog Millionaire.

Obama,... he is one hell of an actor!

i would prefer that they did not remake it however i would love to see this picture re released theatrically! i recently saw it in it's entirety for the first time and was completely moved by this story! It's important that the spirit of this film reach many considering the times we are living in.
