The Cover Art

I actually remember seeing the cover art in the local Video Den when I was a kid. The funny thing is, years later, I got a copy of a film entitled The Gates of Hell Part 2. Not a real sequel to Fulci's classic, but the cover looked oddly familiar... I then found out that it is basically the same exact cover as Funeral Home with some very minor changes. I think that this may be common knowledge at this point but for those of you that haven't seen it check out the cover:

And by the way, Gates of Hell part 2 is not worth seeing in anyway.

Haha, that's oddly strange.

Glad to know someone knew "Funeral Home", and made recognition.

This needs to be on DVD. I haven't seen it ever on DVD at all. There's some bootleg ones on Amazon, which I am concidering of buying or downloading the film and burning it (since it's on public domain)

I have a region 2 copy of Funeral Home. It's pretty basic but better looking then some of the copies floating around. It you have a multiregional DVD player you can probably find a copy on Ebay or Amazon.

The habit of lifting art with horror films is all too common, as is the annoying and perplexing practice of labeling Italian films as sequels when they're not (but that's another topic entirely).

Here's an even more egregious example, where the artwork is exactly the same:
"Frightmare" (1983, not 1974, and another case of confusing titles):

"From Beyond the Grave" (1973):

Is this a case of copyright infringement, or just using easily accessible "clip art"?
