Remember that weird scene in the beginning, where Shelly is in the van holding some little box, peeking into it under the lid, and someone asks him what's in it, and he creepily says, "You'll see", like it was going to be a really important reveal in the movie...?

So what happened to that? They never came back to that plot point. So what the hell was in that box?
