Why didn't Jason kill the bum?
The bum said something like "he gave this to me and wanted me to warn you"
Wonder why Jason spared his life? It's not like he discriminated old people considering he killed Crazy Ralph.
The bum said he found it. I doubt Jason gave it to him.

shareThe guy wasn't really playing with a full deck mentally, so I think he was just trying to be ominous and creepy. Besides, Jason didn't talk, so it isn't like he could verbally instruct the fella to do this. Basically, this character was the first two films' version of Crazy Ralph ("It's got a death curse!").
shareI agree. Jason doesn't talk, so how could the bum know Jason wanted him to warn anyone. Why would Jason want the bum to be warning people he was around.
The bum was not all there mentally.
