When I watch this now, the scene where Chris is hiding in the closet and Jason comes after her.

When Jason is hanging by the rope and he springs to life and tries to grab Chris.

When Dennis kills Connor and then Bheema and Jacob are stuck in the woods alone, cause only Connor knew the way out

For me it's the scene when Chris is calling out for Rick and we find out he is only a few feet away being held by Jason. Not scary so much as it is unsettling.

Agreed, this to me is the scariest scene in the movie and one of my favorite scenes in the whole series.

Yeah, when Chris looks through the keyhole and sees Jason approaching with two hands on the axe ready to bust down the door, was creepy af.
