I'd always assumed they were - as "the four magical brothers" - brothers in their craft as opposed to by blood. That said, they live in a magical realm, so I expect genetics takes a backseat...
Oh, yes, if a pig comes by Castle Dracula on a Tuesday, playing a banjo…
If they represented the four super powers, who was who?
I suppose that Russia would have been Omadon and Britain would have been Carolinus, and the oriential one would have been China, but that would leave the indian one being America, which doens't quite make sense.
I suppose that the India one could have been India, and Peter could have been America. Maybe?
Of course, since Dickinson is English ... Maybe Omadon is meant to be America, not Russia.
Lets see (In good humor only)...
One of the curses that Omadon was to bring upon mankind was Hiroshima (or the nuke in general), which was created by America.
Omadon spied on the quest party using an all seeing eye that could represent a US spy satellite.
He recruited a huge army or dragons, which could represent either the US creation of the Talaban to fight Russia, or the SVA to fight the Vietkong.
He cast a great darkness across the skies to sap the life from the heroes, which could represent Smog created by US heavy industry
Omadon sought to control human destiny in order to progogate his whim, which could represent the spread of US consumer products and media around the world
Breagh was huge and belched smoke which could represent the SUV (OK, I'm reachig a bit here).
Yes there is! I'm from Grantham in Lincolnshire, about 30 minutes from Boston, Boston is on the way to Skegness (great for holidays lol). Where abouts in the UK are you from? :)Loads of American towns and cities are named after British towns.
Whatever you tell me, its gone in three, c'est la vie!
In that case, I'm sorry I doubted you. I'm from Scotland (Born in England, but moved up North.). The weather's not so bad there as the stereotypes claim!
"Loads of American towns and cities are named after British towns. "
You're right, of course. New York, for one. There's an area called New-England, for heaven's sake.
If we do not know we are asleep, do we really dream?
Technically, he's Rhodesian (An African country that no longer exists), but his parents were British, and Rhodesia was part of the British Empire, so he counts as being British.
Most of the other people behind this film ere either born or lived in Newyork.
