In the UK BFI have released about 12 of Herzog's films as a box set, at a very reasonable price.

I'll have to invest in a much needed region free bluplayer.

It seems the transfers BFI did are much better than the Shout Factory ones.

BFI releases are invariably digitally remastered and of a consistently high quality.

I've never bought a BFI release before since they're region 2.

But from comparing screenshots from DVDBeaver and Blu-Ray.com for both versions of Fitzcarraldo, the BFI Blu-Ray is the clear winner.

Same goes for Aguirre.
