I seriously doubt that judging by the fact that there does not seem to be a major city anywhere close and that there's a sign right behind you that says "entering Hope"

It's obvious that scene was filmed nowhere near Portland.

Ah. I thought I read it was filmed in Vancouver.
It was filmed in Hope, British Columbia pretty far from Portland. The point was where they chose to film a scene that was supposed to be right outside of Portland it's obvious it's very far from a major city, they should have picked a location that was closer to let's say Vancouver and therefore it looked like a major city was close by.
