Dennehy was a five-time Emmy nominee who won a Golden Globe playing Willy Loman in the 2000 TV movie Death of a Salesman. In recent years, Dennehy recurred on Public Morals, Hap and Leonard and most recently on The Blacklist as Elizabeth Keen's grandfather.

Rest in Peace. And I will say 81 years old is still a good long life.

I recently said that Brian Dennehy would've made a great Harvey Bullock had Tim Burton's Batman movie used that character instead of Lt. William Eckhardt. His character in First Blood and to a lesser extent, F/X seem Harvey Bullock-esque.
