Who Dares Wins - Blu Ray now available !

I have just received my new Arrow films Blu Ray DVD of this great movie. It is a duel 2 disc set with 1 Blu Ray and 1 DVD which both contain the same material which is a restored, widescreen and slightly extended version with a new commentary from Euan Loyd and Ian Sharp, a 'making of' feature and a 'last of the gentlemen producers' feature.

Its great to finally be able to watch this in widescreen. The picture looks sharp and clean and the sound is very clear.
I also believe that the disc is region free so it should be playable world wide.

Well worth the £13 cost of the disc.

I agree it's well worth it, especially with the extras and the DVD version (region 0 PAL, so even if you're outside of the UK without an all-region player you can watch it on any computer). The PCM soundtrack is very nice as well. However the picture quality is pretty dreadful, so adjust your expectations accordingly. This is most definitely NOT "superbly restored," just a new widescreen master from a really lousy-looking, dupey print. At this price I can hardly complain, though!

Edit: My mistake, the DVD says it's region 0 but it's actually region 2 locked. I should have guessed, considering how many technical spec mistakes there are on the rest of the packaging!

The UK Blu Ray is region free and can be bought from Amazon.co.uk - if you've got an account with US Amazon, the login and password should work on the UK site.

It's well worth buying, if you're a fan of the film :)
