Bedding Judy - An SAS Commando requirement

Love this film as one of my favorite Guilty Pleasures....the most flagrantly
demented right-wing fantasy since John Wayne's "Green Berets"....wonderfully suprised when I discovered I could re-visit it on Netflix streaming.

Most glorious moments...Judy Davis's anti-American performance art...Judy's
hysterical point-counterpoint with Richard Widmark, laying out the film's
manifesto succinctly...(Bill 'O Reilly and Glenn Beck would orgasm if they ever
watched this scene)...Madwoman-From-Hell Ingrid Pitt's steel cage smackdown with Lewis Collins' wife...another SAS guy splattering a terrorist while
he's still rapelling downward...the SAS gas mask point-of-view shots..cleverly pre-dating first-person shooter video games...

But the best of all....our SAS hero, who clearly adores his wife and infant
daughter...but like a true patriot...in the service of Her Majesty...he wastes no time in boffing Judy to pursue his mission. If he ever has to explain this to the wife, he can always use Sean Connery's riposte to Luciana Paluzzi from
"Thunderball"..("You don't think I ENJOYED it, did you?")

That wouldn't necessarily be a lie. "Lay back and think of England" is an old British proverb in such circumstances. Didn't you catch him complain how his knees were killing him.

First movie I became aware of Judy. Wonderful lady.

I realise that post was made ten years ago on IMDb, and that you may not even be here on MovieChat, but I could not let that go without saying it made me burst out loud laughing! If you are here, well said! (love this film, btw)
