Fans DEMAND a REMAKE

It's time to update Fast Times at Ridgemont High, it's just gotten too old and just sin't holding up in today's marketplace. A remake will re-do the movie to make it better for the 2000's.

Stacey: Lindsay Lohan
Linda: Megan Fox
Brad: Jason Segel
Mike Damone: Ben Affleck
Rat: Shia leBouf
Mr. Hand: Richard Dreyfuss
Jefferson: Terry Crews
Mr. Vargas: Michael Richards

This is a well-balanced star studded cast with a blend of nice young and old characters. The fans are demanding a remake so hopefully the studious will finally listen and get this made.

I'm a fan and I'm not demanding a remake. I would be horrified if a remake was ever made. You make a declarative statement. Do you have facts to back that statement up [link]? Why does it have to hold up to today's marketplace? How does it affect you if it doesn't? Why does it have to be better for the 2000's (I'm willing to bet you were born in the 90's and anything older than 1990 is just so gosh darn old). I'm, again, willing to bet millions of the fans are not demanding a remake and it's people who just can't appreciate the gem a film before them that are demanding a remake. We like the film just the way it is.

Um no. Just no. No remake and your casting totally sucks. The only one I could see is Michael Richards as Mr Vargas but no just no.

You must be on drugs if you think that cast is good. Maybe 20 years ago. Ashton Kutcher, Jason Segel, Ben Affleck and Terry Crews are WAY too old to try to pull off high school characters. Lindsay Lohan, besides being a horrible actor, looks way too haggard to play Stacey. Megan Fox might, just might be able to pull off a high school character, as would Ledoofus.

But no, fans are NOT demanding a remake.

What an idiotic idea... Part of the charm of this movie was is was a snapshot into how things were back then, but I guess since that's a dated era we need to remake it more to the time of Facebook and cell phones. While we're at it, Citizen Kane is really "dated" what about a remake for it. It's people like you that contribute to hollywood being so brain dead.

And could you cast any worse for your supposed remake... I think not.
