I'm guessing from the context it means "House of Ekhdals", house being the family.

"The Ekdahl Family Estate" would perhaps be the most fitting translation.

Ekdahl = The family name is question.
Ekdahlska = something which either belongs to or is strongly connected to the Ekdahl family.
hus = house (though 'estate' might be more fitting in cases such as this).
huset = reference to a specific house.

Huset basically means "the house of"
So translated into english, "Ekdahlska huset" means "The House of Ekdahl (house being synonymous for family as you might know)
