Just wanted to make sure:

I have a copy of this film, and enjoy it tremendously. It is supposed to be the shorter theatre version (rather than the TV version). However, on IMDB in its trivia page, it says that Fanny does not even appear in the film until an hour into the theatrical version, but in the TV version "Fanny" is the first spoken word.

Now in my copy, Fanny herself is not seen until quite a bit into the film, but her name WAS the first word of the dialogue as Alexander calls out to her in the very first minute. Is IMDB wrong and does everybody else have the same on their theatrical versions, or do I have a bad copy?

Yep, "Fanny" is the first word heard in both versions. I checked after reading this false bit of trivia on IMDb. Approximately the 1000th wrong bit of trivia I read on that site.
