Childhood - Please do not judge

This film reminded me so much of my childhood, well a specific time in my childhood. I lived with my aunt for a period because of parental issues. Anyways my aunt's house was very similar to the house of Isak. The atmosphere and the mood and so many artifacts in the house. It looked just like Isak's house actually I would often find myself walking around the old house at night. During random parts of the day i would see figures but i can hardly remember now. I also remember having "imaginary friends" during the time at that house and they'd often watch us during holidays and I'd play with them. I cant remember so much but by remembering those events now i feel like there was an angelic presence i often saw at sole times in that house. But after i left, they disappeared. A child's mind can be very powerful.
Anyone else have any relatable stories towards the film?

Some what, but yeah.. that was bergmans goal I think. That's basically how his childhood was. He definitely captured childhood amazingly. As some would say today... "right in the childhood"
