What happened to Nicole?

I read the book and was fascinated by the story, its wealth of details, funny and tragic (it's plainly better than the film, not that the latter is bad, but the book shines out more). Now, Mailer follows some of the people a bit after Gary's left, to see how it winds up and also to show some of the conditions of the writing deal (he never met Gilmore himself).
A short time after Gary's been executed, Lawrence Schiller brings Nicole and her kids to L.A. to interview her and to get them both off the media heat in Salt Lake, plus give her a chance to sort things out. I found myself asking, what happened to Nicole after the time with Gary? As we leave her she's still an outsider, almost with her life in a bag, and to some people a "bad girl". Anyone who knows or who's got the scent of web pages that pick up on her story?

I found myself thinking the same thing. We just kind of left Nicole and I also am very curious what happened to her and her kids. So I have done about as much research on this as i have means to do and came up with nothing. It is sad, I wish we were at least told if they were ok.

Igf you read 'Shot in the Heart' a book by Gary's brother. It states that Nicole found Jesus and now lives happily ever after. However I am not too sure if this is the truth, but hey thats what it says.
