If they ever remake this movie, they should have:

Gary.....Ralph Fienes
Nicole.....Kate Winslet
Brenda.....Laura Linney
Johnny.....Liam Neison

Ugh! I was just thinking about this movie, and came to check out the good old message boards. I wanted to see if it`s out on DVD..... Not yet....

There is no need to remake this movie. Not every film/movie over 5 years old has to be remade (I see the same post on almost every film/movie on IMDB). The original cast is excellent and award winning. Watch the original. Enjoy the original.

Ditto. It's kind of annoying that very little original and interesting movies can come out of Hollywood any more.
