Thanks. saw him at a Ray Courts show where we had a booth for our movie. Definitely a quality seller and straight shooter. Thumbs up as a seller and I guess I will be buying right now :)

Delerue is one of my alltime favourite film composers, and The Escape Artist was one of his best soundtracks, brilliantly matching the visuals. It was re-released as a limited edition CD in 2009 by Percepto Records, with bonus tracks that include Delerue's original piano demo recorded during post-production. The accompanying booklet is lavish with production details. I found a copy via eBay.
I note that Percepto have also recently re-released another CD of his music: Day of the Dolphin, which was only previously available via a 1991 Japanese CD that I have.
If you are interested in Delerue's music, another source is a Canadian firm that faithfully re-records music of his that has sometimes failed to have a first-time release (Rapture, for instance combined on one disk with a gorgeous rendition of Interlude, the theme song performed better, in my view, than in the titles of the movie). They are DCM (Disques CineMusique), easily found via Google and their titles can also be found via eBay, Amazon and other sources.

Here is a site that has the soundtrack. I just ordered it from them myself :)

I thought the soundtrack was just a little too sappy for my tastes. In fact, it may have detracted from the whole experience. Francis Ford Coppola clearly made mistakes with Zoetrope Studios and movies like "The Escape Artist" didn't help any.
