You mean the song the grandmother sings to the little girl? Its called Agatha (hence the girls name). She repeats "Agatha, Agatha" and thats all I can remember. lol.

reply

I remember a little more of it because my mom use to sing it but replacing Agatha's name with mine (Amy)
"Agatha, Agatha never you fear dum dadada dum dadada now that I'm here!
I know the secret that all mother's know....
help me to......and help you to grow...."
Okay so I don't know all the words but maybe you guys can fill in the blanks.
I am actually trying to find a copy of this song so I can put it on a blank cd for my mum. So if anyone happens to come across it please let me know ;)

Turnabout, roundabout, never you fear
Trouble won't, trouble you
Now that I'm here.
I know the secrets that grandmothers know
(here's the part that's fuzzy)
Help me to love you and help you to grow.

Timothy Timothy Never you fear
trouble wont trouble you now that I’m here
I now the secrets that all fathers know
Trust me to love you and help you to grow

Grandmothers know how to keep away harm
Go off to sleep with your head on my arm
Dreams will bring happiness all the night through
I’ll be here waiting to help them come true

Turnabout, roundabout sharing our days
teaching each other in so many ways
tell me the best that you dreamed you could be
I'll be the sunlight that helps you to see

Turnabout, roundabout, never you fear
Trouble won't, trouble you now that I'm here.
I know the secrets that Grandmothers know
Trust me to love you and help you to grow

This is one of my favorite movies. I sing this song to my son and change the words a little.

Thank you so much for the entire lyrics! The second verse, about teaching each other... my grandmother used to sing that to me; my grandparents raised me. It's a really sweet memory......

My Mom got me a DVD of this movie last year for Christmas. I will try and find out where she purchased it from.

reply

Well unless you're overseas (not in America), the DVD was a bootleg because there has been no legit American DVD release of this movie. Its possible someone on eBay had created a bootleg of it (which is common since DVD sales aren't monitored there) and sold it. Not a terrible decision really and lucky you (or your mom that is) for finding it at all since the VHS tapes were selling at over $80 at one time.
